As I mentioned above, decarboxylation is the first step after\u00a0choosing the\u00a0cannabis variety<\/strong>\u00a0to be used.<\/p>\n
At this point, the necessary utensils are prepared: a wooden spoon, a fine-mesh strainer, a relatively large saucepan and, finally, an airtight bottle.<\/p>\n
Now, it is time to decide which type of milk to use. Of course, this drink is also perfect for those who prefer other types of milk, but we will talk about that later.<\/p>\n
Experts remember that cannabinoids are fat-soluble substances and, therefore, the richer the milk is in fat \u2013 animal or vegetable \u2013 the stronger the final result will be.<\/p>\n
As for the amount of\u00a0cannabis to be used<\/strong>, however, there is no universal indication. Everyone puts in the dose they prefer according to their tolerance and the strength of the effect they wish to achieve.<\/p>\n
An intermediate dosage usually requires\u00a01.5 g of inflorescence per \u00bd l of milk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
Now that everything is ready let\u2019s take a closer look at how the drink is prepared.<\/p>\n
And the recipe? Here it is.<\/p>\n
The person who prepares the marijuana milk, after having prepared the necessary materials, proceeds as follows:<\/p>\n

- puts the \u00bd l of milk to heat in the saucepan and brings it to the stove,\u00a0taking care not to let it come to the boil<\/strong>;<\/li>\n
- when it is hot, add 1.5 g of chopped and decarboxylated marijuana and\u00a0cook over a very low flame for about 90 minutes<\/strong>, stirring regularly and avoiding bringing it to a boil, even at this stage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
At this point,\u00a0the cannabis milk<\/strong>\u00a0is strained through a sieve and squeezed well.<\/p>\n
The colour will be a light pastel green, similar to milk and mint. The drink can be consumed while still hot or stored in a hermetically sealed glass bottle for up to a few days in the refrigerator, obviously in countries where regulations allow this.<\/p>\n
According to its regular users, cannabis milk can be used as an ingredient for excellent\u00a0smoothies or protein drinks<\/strong>, but it is also perfect plain with a bit of cocoa or honey.<\/p>\n
As mentioned, those who make this drink do not necessarily use classic cow\u2019s milk. However, even those of vegetable origin are just fine.<\/p>\n

Among the most common alternatives to cow\u2019s milk are:<\/p>\n

- almond milk<\/strong>. This type of milk is not exceptionally high in fat. It contains only 3g per cup and consequently appears to have less potent effects than more fat-rich alternatives. However, it can be a low-calorie version for those who, for example, are following particular dietary regimes;<\/li>\n
- soy milk<\/strong>. It contains 4g of fat per cup and 7g of protein. It is why it is considered excellent to consume after training to increase amino acid levels and relax the muscles;<\/li>\n
- coconut milk<\/strong>. This type of milk is the one that seems to best enhance the properties of cannabis due to its high fat-content. Suffice it to say that it contains as much as 57g per cup!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
In short, cannabis milk is a\u00a0very versatile beverage<\/strong>\u00a0that can meet the needs of many, as long as the law allows its consumption.<\/p>\n

Cannabis milk can be prepared in different ways<\/strong>, giving rise to a different result each time.<\/p>\n
Depending on the variety of marijuana used, it can be primarily relaxing or drugging.<\/p>\n
The choice of milk also makes a difference. For example, with coconut milk, which is rich in lipids, one obtains a drink that seems to maximise the properties of the cannabinoids, while opting for almond milk prepares low-calorie milk that is also suitable for people who, for one reason or another, prefer lower-calorie options.<\/p>\n
