It seems it\u2019s not yet time for this\u2026<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the country, the only legal way to use cannabis is to use\u00a0<strong>cannabinoid drugs<\/strong>\u00a0(made by pharmacies from dried and cut cannabis flowers) prescribed by a doctor.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recreational use of marijuana, including legal marijuana \/ CBD, has been decriminalised and punished as an administrative offence. Anyone caught in flagrante delicto is subject to administrative sanctions (suspension of a document or fine), but no longer risks imprisonment.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 18 December 2019, the United Sections of the Court of Cassation also decriminalised the cultivation of tiny quantities of cannabis at home for personal use only. Here again, the crime is administrative and not criminal.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the situation of \u201clegal marijuana\u201d is not yet clear. Law authorises the production of Sativa cannabis with THC percentages below 1%, but the use of\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/www.justbob.ch\/en\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.justbob.ch\/en\/\">CBD cannabis<\/a>\u00a0flowers is still prohibited. The\u00a0CBD buds,\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/www.justbob.ch\/en\/cbd-oil\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.justbob.ch\/en\/cbd-oil\/\">CBD oil<\/a>\u00a0and CBD hashish trade is still dubious because the regulations change frequently.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cannabis? Luxembourg has said yes!<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Luxembourg will most likely be the first country in Europe to completely legalise the production and consumption of marijuana for personal use.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2018, Luxembourg\u2019s political leaders talked about the full cannabis legalisation. They believe that residents over the age of 18 are likely to be able to\u00a0<strong>buy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justbob.ch\/en\/\">CBD buds<\/a> cannabis legally<\/strong>\u00a0by 2021.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Already in 2001, the country decriminalised the use and possession of cannabis for personal use, a behaviour that is only punishable by a fine. Medical cannabis has been completely legal since 2018.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In short, Luxembourg is in the lead!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The cannabis situation in the UK: is marijuana use legal or not?<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The UK passed a law on\u00a0<strong>medical marijuana<\/strong>\u00a0in 2013 and launched a trial programme in 2019, which will continue until 2021 to assess the effectiveness of medical marijuana and its use.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although the ban is still in force, the UK has decriminalised the possession of marijuana since 2018. As in Italy, the offence is administrative and is punishable by a fine of around 200 euros.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Marijuana in Spain: a lot of confusion but few sanctions.<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Spain, the legality of cannabis is a somewhat confusing fact. Although cannabis possession is illegal, the law is only enforced in public places. Besides, each Spanish region makes independent decisions about the possession and consumption of cannabis, which is why there are very famous Cannabis Social Clubs in Catalonia.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cannabis clubs in Spain may look like the caf\u00e9s in Amsterdam, but they are not public shops. Only members can buy and\u00a0<strong>consume marijuana and hashish<\/strong>\u00a0on the premises of these clubs. The members usually produce the marijuana found in the clubs.
