It acts in the brain, inducing the\u00a0release of dopamine<\/strong>, a neurotransmitter that acts on the sympathetic nervous system and is responsible for the typical sensation of euphoria following marijuana intake.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
It\u00a0stimulates the increase in heart rate<\/strong>\u00a0and blood pressure in the body.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
In addition to dopamine release, THC binds to particular receptors called cannabinoid receptors, found mainly in the brain.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
